1 Corinthians 1:18 The preaching of the gospel is foolishness to them that perish, but unto us who are saved it is the power of God

It's really not about me: it's about the God who called me to preach, and the word He gave me to deliver.

My mission is simple: to share withthe world that which God has shared with me

I accepted the call to ministry at the age of eighteen, but had been in training for it my entire life. I don’t remember a time when I was not preparing for ministry. I was always developing my mind to be of service to God.
From the very early years of my ministry I recorded and kept my sermons. I preached in churches, on radio, and lectured at colleges and universities all over the country. I preached to all types of audiences and to practically every denomination. In doing so, I compiled an expansive body of work.
This site is the essence of my life’s work in ministry and an avenue for sharing that work with the world. I hope your visit will be a blessing to you and that here you will find useful information that you will tell others about.
My presentations before live audiences were done without manuscripts or notes, so the only record of them is the recordings, but the radio sermons were written and saved. Consequently they are now available through this avenue. This site contains my sermons and writings and their availability here is my effort to share with others that which God has shared with me.
The sermons listed were preached over a period of fifty years and are divided into three categories; those that were preached in church, those that were delivered on radio, and a special category of sermons preached on radio during the Civil Rights years.
Finally, there are the books and the character program. In addition to my work with churches, I spent many years in education; teaching and lecturing nationally on educational issues. Several of my books are on education.
This site is dedicated primarily to my more than fifty years of Christian ministry. It is the product of a mind and life that have always been dedicated to the service of God.
The material on this site didn’t come from me; it came through me. It doesn’t belong to me; it belongs to God’s people. I hope, as a child of God, you will find information here that will help you become a better servant of God and better builder of the Kingdom of God.
